That's beat up...
After recently recovering from my injuries sustained while kicking tail at the three-legged race with Brent during the Hathalympics, I have beat myself up these last few days.
I hiked 12 miles in my new Chacos and added some serious blisters to the huge ones I already had from breaking in my new running shoes.
I beat my hand up the other day demonstrating how I play Wii. (I was not acutally playing Wii; just showing how I play Wii.)
The AC in my classroom broke and I sliced my hand open while moving some file cabinets from the flood that ensued from the broken AC.
The best yet, though, is that I busted on my run earlier this week. I went back to 5am runs since it's so freakin' hot in the afternoons now. I tripped over a crack in the sidewalk and wiped out. Probably looked pretty funny, but thankfully no one else in my neighborhood is awake at 5am. Tahoe was pretty startled, I knocked the breath out of me, and have a few minor scraps and bruises. The part that makes me feel really old is that today I am sore all over - abs, back, arm muscles.
With 28 looming right around the corner, I better start taking better care of myself. I think a hip replacement is highly possible.
