Hmmmm...judging by the fact that my previous post was posted the day BEFORE Brent lost his job, I might have been throwing myself a pity party when Kate gave me an out. She told me to list the BEST things that have happened to me since Brent and I got married.

She even got me started (hers are in italics):

1. Hayden was born and you get to look forward to baby Barnacles (and I'm not knocked-up yet).
2. You got a Master's degree (and I only failed one of my exams).
3. You discovered that you're not only awesome at teaching 8th grade, but 7th grade as well (awesome might be overdoing it).
4. Kate quit teaching so you don't have to listen to her bitch and moan about it anymore (and Brent and I got to drive her on an epic journey with Ulysses the Uhaul across the country for grad school).
5. You learned what love really looks like - in the good and bad. Something many people spend their whole lives searching for...lucky you discovered it at 26.
6. I moved to an exciting new city with a great church, good friends, and a job.
7. I got to take an RV trip with the best in-laws in the world to the best places in the US.
8. On that note, I've managed to get my out West fix for the last 3 summers in a row. Hope to keep that up.
9. I lived in the perfect neighborhood in Weaverville, outside of my still-favorite city in NC, for 2 years.
10. I'll leave this one open for write-ins. What am I forgetting?
