Family Matters

We went home this weekend to welcome the newest addition to my already huge and complicated family. Zoe. (she has the two little dots over the o, but I can't figure out how to type that). It was a great weekend. My entire family was there.

Some of the highlights were:
- Meeting my new niece, obviously.
- Playing with 8-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog puppies.
- Watching my sister being a mom. It's fun to see your sibling doing something you've never seen them do before. Both of my sisters are great moms.
- Watching Brent play drums with my family.
- Driving back and forth from Raleigh to Lexington 4 times in 3 days....oh wait, that part was not fun at all.
- Running a 5k with my sister and placing first in my age group (that's a first).
- Eating BBQ (not a first, I'd do that daily if I could).
- Borrowing my sister's clothes....just like old times.
- Getting to see my other sister's prom dress that she and my mom made.

Overall, it was a GREAT weekend.

Zoë is very cute!!!! Glad you had some quality time with the family.

p.s. the double dot over the e thing must be a "foreign" keyboard feature.

Love you.

If you hold function and option and u at the same time, and then let go and hit o you'll get ö...why do they make that so complicated and why do I know how to do it? I can't answer either of those questions.
