Proverb says: Those who are the coldest-natured must always be cold.

It happened again.

Despite all of my efforts to prevent it, I am sitting in the coldest house in the world. The thermostat won't even register how cold it is anymore. It stopped at 50. Our landlord failed to tell us that we had gas heat, so we never paid the gas company. They didn't like that very much. Now we have no gas. We don't like that very much.

Brent might get a space heater for Christmas in addition to his new slippers.
