Firsts

1. This weekend I attended my first NC State Wolfpack football game. I was astounded that so many fans - I mean TONS of fans - come out for a game that their team is destined to lose. I now understand on a whole new level what it means to be a State Fan. I thought it was just Brent, but they all have the same mentality. They know their team will lose, but they come out, ever hopeful, just in case. It did start raining, HARD, sometime in the 2nd quarter and we left and ran back to our car. I was soaked. Absolutely soaked. I don't know the last time I was that wet in normal clothes.

2. Brent and I went on our first bike ride together and I experienced Raleigh's Greenway. It's amazing. It takes all the scary cars out of the picture and it goes forever. I am a big fan. Seriously huge fan. Every city, especially Asheville, should have a greenway. In this category Raleigh wins out.
